Our Partners have a substantial track record of developing and managing successful energy investments over the last two decades.

Tom Brooks
Mr. Brooks has 22 years experience in the energy industry and has led teams in a range of areas, including power development and operations, energy asset investing, electricity and natural gas marketing, trading and risk management.

Mr. Brooks served in an executive role at Constellation Energy from 2001 to 2008, most recently as President of its merchant businesses, which included power generation operations, wholesale marketing and risk management, and retail business units. Prior to joining Constellation, Mr. Brooks worked at Goldman Sachs as part of the team that developed its domestic power business with J. Aron. Previously, Mr. Brooks was a founding partner of AERX, Inc., an emissions brokerage and trading business, which was acquired by Enron in 1992. Earlier in his career, Mr. Brooks worked as a geophysicist engaged in oil and gas exploration at Western Geophysical.

Mr. Brooks received a BS from Yale University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
George Persky
Mr. Persky has 15 years experience in the energy industry. His tenure as a public company senior executive and corporate officer spans a range of areas including trading, asset investment, development and operations.

He worked at Constellation Energy from 2001 to 2008, ultimately leading all the commercial activities within its merchant business units and serving as a senior corporate executive. Previously, Mr. Persky worked at Goldman Sachs and was part of the team that built its power business within J. Aron. Prior to joining Goldman, Mr. Persky worked as an advisor to hedge fund and private equity clients on alternative asset class investments. In the early 1990s, Mr. Persky was a member of the team that built Enron’s successful merchant energy beachhead in Europe. He also worked as Director, Finance and Administration for a medical information technology start-up in Philadelphia.

Mr. Persky received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and BS and MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
